On August 27, Kao Kong-lian, the Vice Chairman of the SEF, led a delegation to visit Huaguo. Straits Exchange Foundation Kao Kong-lian, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the SEF, led a delegation to Guangdong on the 26th. In addition to attending the inauguration ceremony of the Guangzhou Taiwanese Business Association president, the visit aimed to understand the current operating conditions of Taiwanese businesses and explain the significance and benefits of the Investment Protection and Promotion Agreement and the Customs Cooperation Agreement signed during the eighth meeting between leaders of the two sides' associations for Taiwanese businesses. Earlier, Ma Shao-zhang, the SEF's Deputy Secretary-General and spokesperson, stated that Guangdong was the first place Taiwanese businesses invested in, and hoped to learn more about the challenges faced by Taiwanese businesses and assist Taiwanese companies in upgrading and transforming.
In the morning, Zhou Liangcheng, the current president of the Foshan Taiwanese Business Association and general manager of Foshan Huaguo Optical Instrument Co., Ltd., personally received Vice Chairman Kao and his delegation. During the visit, Vice Chairman Kao learned about Huaguo's history, current operating conditions, and future prospects, and toured the production workshop.
Around 9:20 am, General Manager Zhou personally went to the south gate of the company to greet Vice Chairman Kao and his delegation. In front of the new office building of Huaguo Company, General Manager Zhou and Vice Chairman Kao and his delegation first took a friendly group photo. Afterwards, in the VIP room of Huaguo Company, Vice Chairman Kao first inquired about and learned about Huaguo Company's history, current operating status, and future goals, and watched the company profile video with General Manager Zhou.
Following this, led by General Manager Zhou, Vice Chairman Kao and his delegation visited the workshop and production line, gaining an in-depth understanding of the processing principles and production processes of optical lenses.
Around 10:15 am, Vice Chairman Kao and his delegation, led by General Manager Zhou, returned to the office building. In the office lobby, Vice Chairman Kao and General Manager Zhou exchanged gifts. In a friendly atmosphere, Vice Chairman Kao and his delegation concluded their visit to Huaguo.
It is understood that in addition to Huaguo Company, the Taiwanese companies visited by Vice Chairman Kao's delegation included Guanghua School and four other companies, with Huaguo being the first company visited on this trip.
