On September 23, 2016, the Foshan Chancheng Taiwanese Business Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Taiwanese Association") once again went to Guangxi Pingmo Primary School to carry out poverty alleviation and education assistance activities. Ms. Ding Li, Deputy Director of the Taiwan Affairs Section of the Chancheng District Committee of the United Front Work Department; Mr. Zhou Liangcheng, President of the Foshan Chancheng Taiwanese Business Association and General Manager of Huaguo Optical Instrument Co., Ltd.; Mr. He Haoqiang, Chairman of Foshan Shichuang Safety Technology Management Co., Ltd.; Ms. Luo Jianfang, Assistant General Manager of Foshan Sumitomo Fuji Elevator Co., Ltd.; other members of the Foshan Chancheng Taiwanese Business Association; and representatives from Huaguo Company, totaling 15 people, participated in the event.
From the end of 2015 to the beginning of 2016, employees from Huaguo Company's Manufacturing Department 1, Manufacturing Department 4, and the Management Department's Organization Department showed their love by renovating the Pingmo Primary School campus. Employees from Manufacturing Department 2 and Manufacturing Department 3 donated to the construction of the kindergarten at Pingmo Primary School. On September 23rd, company representatives participated in the Foshan Chancheng Taiwanese Association's poverty alleviation and education assistance activities. Everyone came to Guangxi Pingmo Primary School with the enthusiasm and love of the sun that day. During the event, Foshan Huaguo Optical Instrument Co., Ltd., Foshan Sumitomo Fuji Elevator Co., Ltd., Foshan Shichuang Safety Technology Management Co., Ltd., and Foshan Chuangya Group Co., Ltd. donated kindergarten facilities and provided salary subsidies for kindergarten teachers. The Foshan Chancheng Taiwanese Association hired kindergarten teachers for the school, solving the problem of local impoverished villagers whose young children could not attend school and had no one to care for them. At the same time, it built a complete campus environment for students in impoverished mountainous areas, helping the healthy growth of impoverished students and left-behind children.
Due to local geographical issues, children of scattered impoverished villagers could not be transported to town for schooling. Since March 2007, the Foshan Chancheng Taiwanese Business Association and Huaguo Company have been donating to rebuild the teaching and dormitory buildings of Pingmo Primary School. This donation activity has now lasted for 10 years. Huaguo Company has continuously sent teachers to teach for 6 years, cultivating hundreds of villagers' children. Qin Renliu, one of the first students to benefit from this program, was admitted to China Agricultural University in 2015 with excellent results!
Pingmo Primary School's support teachers have cultivated many excellent students over the years who have been admitted to excellent city-level middle schools, further improving the problem of students in mountainous areas dropping out of school prematurely.
Since 2007, Huaguo Company has sent support teachers to assist in teaching and donated to the construction of multiple school buildings in mountainous areas. In 2016, marking ten years of support for impoverished mountainous areas, we wish all students in mountainous areas to soon solve the problem of difficulty in attending school. We encourage each colleague to contribute to mountain area education! Huaguo Company hopes to use practical actions to bring warmth and care to the children, and at the same time inspire the broader public to have a good heart of helping others, promote positive social energy, and contribute to "precise poverty alleviation."
